Ordinary Goods was born from a simple idea: to create well made things for everyday life. It started with a search for the perfect t-shirt – something heavyweight, timeless, and thoughtfully made. After years of coming up short (or too long in some cases), our founder, Alex, decided to make one instead.
We launched with a 305gsm, 100% cotton tee featuring a boxy, oversized fit and our signature ribbed neck. Built for daily wear and UK summers that demand more than paper thin basics, it’s a piece that feels substantial the moment you put it on.
Our first design captured the feeling of summer – fresh, citrusy, and full of optimism. It set the tone for what Ordinary Goods stands for: clothing and objects that feel good, wear well, and are made to last.
Rooted in a love for streetwear and shaped by years spent in the skate and BMX scenes, our approach is about returning to what feels real. These influences show up in our statement pieces, subtle details, and laid-back fits. They’re always grounded in function and feel.
